| 4th May 2008 Approximately 85% of the Car Park is now available for public parking. Resurfacing of the car park is now scheduled for week commencing Monday 12th May. Following completion of this and white-lining the car park should be back to normal by week commencing 19th May Due to ongoing works by South West Water in the Harbour Car Park at Sennen Cove, only a handful of parking spaces are available to the public. Alternative parking is available in the beach car park at the eastern end of the Cove. Sennen Cove Harbour Commissioners and South West Water regret any inconvenience caused by these works, which are essential to improve the sewage facilities and clean bathing water in the area. The works commenced 1st October 2007 and are scheduled for completion in February 2008. Update from SWW on 28th February (no - it will not be finished by end of February !) `The contractor proposes to reduce their working area to the far corner of the car park covering an area over the new chambers, week commencing 10th March and to clear the whole car park by the end of March. Resurfacing of the whole car park is to be programmed for 3 days sometime in April, the date is yet to be confirmed but we will ensure it does fall during the school holiday period. ` ( `x` to close) |
