Construction Works during 2009

THIS WEEK`S PLANNED WORKS

Week Commencing 16th February

Plans for this week include removing the tipping cradle from the boathouse. This will be removed in sections across the short slipway.
The two winch drums and the winch engine will also be removed in this way during the week.

There should be less movements of spoil up Cove Hill this week, and only a small dumper will be running.

 

19th February 2009

Tipping cradle removed and excavations started in the boathouse.

ILB winch removed from the boathouse and ready for disposal.

Two views of works continuing on the granite plinths of the long slipway to prepare them to carry the supports for the new slip.
