THIS WEEK`S PLANNED WORKS

Week Commencing 25th May
With the jack-up platform now in place, work can commence on the concrete toe at the end of the launch slipway.
The existing concrete has first to be reduced in size to allow placement of the precast concrete `saddle` sections over the top of the existing concrete, forming the new slipway.
Further steel erection on the launch slipway is also likely to continue throughout this week.


 

26th May
A 14 ton long-reach swing shovel being craned onto the jack-up platform at low water today.

Saturday 30th May
The launching slipway seen from seaward, quickly taking shape.
