Construction Works during 2009

THIS WEEK`S PLANNED WORKS

Week Commencing 6th July
Work will continue this week from the jack-up platform, working on the underwater section of the launch slipway.
Work continues this week on removal of the temporary access works at the front of the boathouse, and work is expected to start on construction of the new recovery slipway.


 

Above images taken on 12th July show the launching slipway steelwork pretty much completed and awaiting infill panels, rollers and handrails.
The first stages of steelwork for the short recovery slipway is also in place.

Image on the left shows the tipping cradle, with preparations being made for the final concrete pour around the base.
Image on the right taken on 9th July shows work continuing on the concrete toe of the launch slipway.
