The reason behind launching a site all about Longboard Travel is to create a helpful page aimed at making travelling with a longer board easier. Those of us who frequently travel with boards over 9ft in length usually start to encounter problems from as early as the initial booking stage, let alone the problems of transportation and those all too familiar hidden charges. So what we are looking to do (with your help) is to make life that little bit easier and share helpful tips that we've picked up along the way.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SITE!!!!!!
Q.....Why only longboards?
A.....If you get a flight,cab,bus or boat and you've got a shortboard you usually don't get too much of a problem.
With a longboard or 2 it's completely different.Most peoples answer is to either charge you a lot of extra money to travel with your boards or to not let you travel at all.
I've found myself many times waiting at the wrong end of a queue to see if there was any room left for my boards OR trying to find a taxi big enough to take them.(IT ONCE TOOK ME 4 HOURS TO FIND A TAXI BIG ENOUGH TO TAKE ME AND MY BOARDS UP THE COAST IN MEXICO)
Q.....WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
A......By sharing our experiences we can hopefully make travelling easier,and by doing so GET MORE WATER TIME....
