Priest`s Cove is dominated by the huge bulk of Cape Cornwall
which forms its western headland. A lovely little fishing cove ; a few boats still ply their trade from here , working lobster pots, and sometimes catching mackerel. |
Swimming is
safe from Priest`s Cove - there are lots of convenient spots to `park up` on
the rocks ; and the Cove rarely becomes crowded. There are public toilets at the Cove ; and ample car-parking nearby. The cliff path passes through the Cove , with Sennen 1½ to 2 hours walk to the south, and Pendeen a similar distance to the northeast. The National Coastwatch lookout is situated on the point of Cape Cornwall , and visitors are always welcome . |

Priest`s
Cove and Cape Cornwall are reached from St.Just. From Sennen Cove , take the A30 back towards Penzance for appx 2 miles, turning left onto the B3306 for St.Just. In the centre of St.Just, turn left onto the road to Cape Cornwall. Priest`s Cove is approximately six miles by road from Sennen. |
