Sue, on a broader research note, in researching another station, I found that all RAF stations kept a log of daily events. I found the log to the station I was researching at the Public Records Office at Kew. Such a log might give you names of personnel who served there through their comings and goings. This might help you assuming you have not already gone this route. If this is off interest, you can do a web search of the archive and see if any documents surface.
