Who said Gwenver beach and the adjoining Sennen beach to the stream are privately owned ? I am Cornish born and bred and have been swimming, surfing and fishing off both beaches since a child and have only just heard about this. It is complete nonsense as far as I and many other local people are concerned. In rare cases in the UK where a beach IS privately owned, it only then means the land ABOVE a high spring tide watermark. I would be very interested to learn where this information has come from. |
