Charlestown Rowing Club are currently nearing the end of a marathon gig row and `push` around Cornwall
They sailed from Charlestown on Friday 18th May - Saturday saw them pulling the gig across the high ground of east Cornwall, having rowed up the Tamar.
Sunday got them to Bude, from where they sailed on Monday to Padstow.
Tuesday was a 38 mile row from Padstow to St Ives.
Yesterday, Wednesday, saw them row from St Ives, round Lands End to Newlyn.
Today from Newlyn to St Mawes, and due to complete this epic arriving back at Charlestown tomorrow.
Madness, for sure, but they are raising funds for the RNLI and their own `Charlestown Community Building Project`

Yesterday, the Sennen Cove Lifeboat, along with the Cape Cornwall Gig, met the `Tormentor` just to the west of Pendeen and went along with them as far as Penberth Cove, where they went ashore for some food and drink (we think kindly provided by the Logan Rock Inn) before carrying on to Newlyn.
