9 October

Pauline & John

Walking on the beach yesterday (8th October) we spotted a jellyfish stranded on the beach just beyond the surf line. We had never seen one like it before, and scooped it up with lots of sand round it and put it back in the sea. It was not flat and "jelly-like" like they usually are when out of the water, it almost looked like a blown up plastic bag and was a blue-ish lilac colour.  I looked it up on Google. Well, now we are very glad that my husband didn't touch it with his hands, as it was nothing more or less than a Portugese Man o' War! Be carefull when walking along the beach!
